Aspartame's Morbid Effects:

Before you drink that Diet Coke ®, Diet anything, do you really know what you're drinking? Did you know that the US Navy does not allow their fighter pilots to drink anything with aspartame because of its deleterious effects?

The following is a summary from numerous studies and reports. More information can be found on the Internet under www.aspartame.com, www.aspartamekills.com and www.holisticmed.com/aspartame

Fact:

Aspartame is marketed under the trade name of "Equal®" and "Nutrasweet®".

In 1992 14 million pounds were consumed. At that time this product was consumed by more people than any other synthetic product in history.

Composition: Methyl alcohol (10% by weight), aspartate, and phenylalanine.

Decomposes to Formaldehyde and Formic acid (toxins to the human body). Decomposition is accelerated in warm (86 F) environments.

Method of decomposition: Aspartame breaks down into methanol (wood alcohol). Methanol quickly converts (oxidizes) to formaldehyde and formic acid in the body. Both of these metabolites are toxic. Formaldehyde causes gradual and eventually severe damage to the neurological system, immune system and causes permanent genetic damage at extremely low doses.

Recommended limit of methanol = 7.8 mg/day.

A 1-liter aspartame-sweetened beverage contains about 56mg of methanol!

Peer Review: Studies of aspartame in Peer reviewed medical literature contain the following correlation. Of the 166 studies felt to have relevance for the question of human safety, 74 had Nustrasweet® industry related funding and 92 were independently funded.

100% of the industry funded research attested to aspartame's safety, whereas 92% of the independently funded research identified a problem.

Symptoms include headache, vertigo (dizziness), vision problems, nausea flickering, flicker-induced epileptic activity, . . .

DRINK WATER. It's necessary for a properly functioning body.
